Problem:
Today's youth often do not recognize veterans for their service and effort in protecting our country, our beliefs, our morals, and our freedom. We believe that these veterans really deserve our appreciation and thanks.
Solution:
On Veteran's Day, the members of Youth4Better went to their local memorials to honor those who have sacrificed their lives for our country. Some members laid flowers at the plaques, some attended ceremonies, and some thanked veterans for their service in person.
Impact:
Our goal was to try to get youth to commemorate these heroes. To thank them and appreciate them for all their service in protecting and defending democracy. We hope that from our efforts, youth will begin taking time to thank all who sacrificed their lives for this country.
